It was always either me, or my dad, that shot all of our family photos at Christmas and other holidays. Looking back, with both parents now gone, those images are priceless. What started as a hobby turned into a passion upon seeing a magazine with Ansel Adams' work on the cover and inside. After seeing his work and reading what he had to say about photography, I was hooked. That was more than 30 years ago and I still have that passion. It is a gift to get to work in a field where my passion could begin with working with large format, black and white images in a dark room and carry me through to the digital technology that has transformed photography into what we have today. I still enjoy trying new technology, sharing ideas and playing with new equipment. It never gets old.
